We are using JIRA as a tool to support many processes within the organization.
Besides using it as an issue tracker for our software development.
For example for incident and change management as well.
This is done via dedicated projects with dedicated scheme's.
Now I want to create some very quick-buttons which are easy to access to:
=> create a support ticket.
=> create a change request.
So e.g. on the top menu you have the Create Issue action button.
But using that is just too many clicks and takes too much time.
Is it possible that I create next to this action button other custom actions?
So that everybody can file a specific issue immediately?
What version of JIRA are you using? If its not version 5.0+, take a look at those to see the improvements made to the creation of new issues.
version 5.1 indeed, we try to keep up with the latest releases indeed.
always good new functionality in new releases.
