Edit Epic Name

Hi,

For Epics, We have configured Screen Epics with the field Epic Name, this field appears on the create screen, but doesn't appear on the edit screen. I know it is possible to edit on the epic panel, but some teams don't use this panel. So, how we can show Epic Name on the edit screen?

Currently, when using the new issue view, it's not possible to edit the Epic name. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

As a workaround, if you are using a classic project, you can disable the new issue view by clicking on your profile picture > personal settings and disable "New Jira issue view for software projects".
