Effort Field Not Viewable

I cannot get the effort custom field to be viewable in my js project. It has been added to the screen being used, and I have added it as a context field, but it will not show it's face. I've even moved the other fields on this list around and seen changes, but I still cannot see the effort field. I'm not sure why this is happening.
