How to enable email notification on daily basic to a specific group or user for issues still open in jira service desk

You can simply create a filter to capture the issue you want, e.g. project = myproject and resolution = unresolved, save it and set up a subscription to email the group daily.

Go to advance search for issues and define a filter. Once defined and saved there is a “Details” link. Within the details you can setup subscription. This article may help.
