Please check your logs. Also check the smtp configuration (in Outgoing mail) by sending a test mail. If everything is proper, its a problem with your notification scheme. check that too

It shows your credentials are wrong. Your password might got expired or you are using wrong credentials. Please try logging into the mailbox once.

please check if the outgoing email is enabled. Also check the mail queue to verify if emails are sent ok or not. Finally, check the notification scheme of your Jira projects.

It is in the administration section, you have to go to System->Outgoing Email. Are you on server on cloud? If you find it hard to navigate the menus just press . (yes, the dot in the key board) and a search menu appears where you can type where you want to go. Write email.
IF this does not work, as Francesc says, you will have to check the notificaction schemas.
