Email Vanishes from Mail server, while creating tickets from email

Sathish T May 22, 2018

Hi,

I'm using JIRA Cloud. With the help of "Incoming Mail", I've added a mail handler as if when a JIRA Users sends an email, it creates as a new issue or a comment will be added to an existing issue. This works fine..

But I face two issues here..

1. There is a time delay, initially, it just took few minutes(less than 2 minutes) to create a ticket. And now, it is taking atleast 1-1.5 hours to create a ticket.

2. As soon as it creates a ticket, the email vanishes from the mailbox of "To" Recipient and get stored in JIRA as a ticket.

Please help me on this!

The speed could be a number of things, check the Jira logs to see what it is doing.

The deletion of the email is what the system is supposed to do, once the mail is imported as an issue, you don't need the incoming email any more, and you don't want Jira to keep processing them, so it removes them.

Hi, Thanks... Any idea? Where to check the Jira logs in JIRA Cloud? I guess we don't have this option in Cloud! Isn't it?
