Hi,
I've recently changed my Jira password. Since then, I stopped getting email notifications from Jira.
I've tried changing the password again, but I did not receive a verification email.
I've sent a test email from Jira to my group. Everyone got the email besides me.
Checking the email logs in Jira indicates that all my team members have an email address mentioned, but there's no email address mentioned next to my username.
When reviewing the email they received, I see my email address mentioned in the recipients list.
I'm getting emails from Confluence while logged in with the same account. I've set Slack notifications- also not received. I can only see the tickets' updates in the Jira notifications section.
Could not find any indication for such case in the forums.
How should I proceed?
Regards
Hi @Ziv , welcome to the Community!
I've checked the logs for our outgoing mail service and found that Google's mail service had returned a "mailbox is disabled" error for your email address on October 7. In order to keep our mail service in good standing with spam reputation lists, we pause sending additional emails to addresses that return this type of error.
Since you clearly are using that email address however and getting notifications from other applications, I've gone ahead and cleared out that error in our mail service. At the moment, we don't have a way of showing this condition to Atlassian Cloud site administrators - but JRACLOUD-67264 does track this if you'd like to follow along on its progress.
At any rate, you should be all set now! Any Jira emails should start delivering again with no further action needed.
Cheers,
Daniel | Atlassian Team
Thank you for the prompt and detailed response.
The email notifications were resumed.
Regards,
Ziv
