Email notification for creator of a task

I need to set off the notification (email) for the person who creates the task of the project. I was looking into the Notification Scheme to see if the Reporters are part of the Default but it's not.

Problem is the person who creates the project and issues are set as a reporter and watcher at the same time and get every email every time the task change or have an update.

Is there a way to set off the watcher set up everytime you create an issue? Like if you create an Issue doesn't put you as a watcher by default?

Just wanted to confirm that your question is as follows; Reporters should not be added to the Watcher's list of an issue, is that correct?

As of Jira 5.2.2, Autowatch can be disabled for all users under JIRA Admin > User Preferences.
