Email notification when issue transitions

I am trying to set up an email notification when an issue transitions to a specific state. The email should only be sent to the Reporter of the issue. I can't find anything that specific in Notifications. Thank you for any help!

There is not a built in notification for sending email on specific issue transitions.

You could use a Workflow Post Function to send the email for that specific transition. Or you could use an Automation Rule to send the notification on that specific transition.
