Empty array when listing attachments via Rest api

christophe.salomon August 25, 2015

I want to list the attachments of an issue with the rest api but I get the following error: HTTP Status 405 - Method Not Allowed

My query is very simple: http://myhost/rest/api/2/issue/TEST-123/attachments

What is wrong ? Do you have experience the same problem ?

I found my problem. The field attachment was "Hide" on my project.

After many checks, the problem seems to be link to the configuration of my project. It works with project XXX but not with project YYY.

Any idea ?

You need to give it a valid method - "attachments" is not a valid method.  See https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/ for what is valid.

You are close though.  http://myhost/rest/api/2/issue/TEST-123 should return a load of metadata about the issue including a representation of a list of attachments.
