Enable SSO & Migrate Users

We are planning to enable SSO for our Jira instance which is on cloud. But we would like to know how the existing users will be mapped to the users in Active Directory.

How do we test this before doing the changes in production? Can we get any sandbox created for the same ?

Hi there,

When you connect AD on Jira it will not map users from Jira to your AD.
What you need to do first is to create the accounts that exist on Jira on AD using the same email address that they have on Jira, then you can configure the SSO on Jira to map your users.
