End Field is not available on my screens

Hi,

I just created a project and I what to add the End Date field on to an screen but it is not available.

I also tried to use it in an automation (see the attached image) but it is not available either.

Can you help me please?

I hace another Jira Account and the field is available.

Could you please elaborate more on if this is  a system field or a custom field you trying to use in the automation ?

is the project a team or company managed project ?

A screenshot of the field would help from settings >work items > custom fields

Hey! This is a pretty common issue. The End Date field isn't available in all project types by default.

Quick things to check:

What type of project is it? If it's a Software project, End Date usually isn't there by default. Business projects typically have it.

Check your project settings Go to Project Settings > Fields and see if End Date is listed there. If it is, you just need to add it to your screen.

Compare with your other account What type of project do you have in the other Jira where it works? That might give us a clue.

If End Date isn't showing up in your field list at all, you might need to either switch project types or add it as a custom date field.
