End of Life Health Check fails with NullPointerException

Hi All,

After updating to the latest version of Jira from v7.1.9 to v7.6.2, I am now receiving this error in the EOL Instance Health Check even though I am on the latest version?

All other health checks pass fine.

Any help to resolve this error is much appreciated.

Hi Bill,

There is a bug titled End of Life check fails with NullPointerException that matches the issue.  Review the issue to make sure you agree and if so please vote on the issue to add impact and you'll be notified when there are any updates.  In the meantime the ticket lists a workaround:

Create jira-healthcheck-eol.json in $JIRA_HOME and add

{"name":"7.6.0","releaseDate":"2017-11-16"}

Then restart JIRA

This is resolved using your one of work around (upgrade health check pulgin to 2.5.5). Thanks for your community support.
