Epic Link Doesn't Show on Move Screen

We are attempting to move some tickets between two projects (projects A and B) on our Jira instance. Both projects have the Jira native field "Epic Link" on their edit and create screens for all issue types. 

When moving from Project A to Project B, we are prompted during the move for a number of field updates, but "Epic Link" is not included in this. Project A does not require epics, but Project B does (in a business standards sense, it is not coded as a required field). Is there a way to get the "Epic Link" field to show up here? How does Jira determine which fields to display on the Update Fields screen when moving issues?

It only includes fields which are a necessity from an encoded perspective.

So if an Epic Link is still optional in Project B, rather than mandatory, it won't appear.
