I have an epic created, with tasks assigned to Sprints although when navigating to the Backlog the tasks are not pulling into the Sprint.
Hi @Trudy Claspill -
In the backlog, DX-3067 is not pulling in. The Sprint has started and the ticket is still not appearing on the Sprint Board or Backlog.
Hi @Trudy Claspill !

Hello @Brooke Cord
Welcome to the community.
Can you provide more information on your scenario and screen images?
Are the tasks assigned to Active (started) Sprints? Do you see the tasks in the sprints when you are viewing the board?
Do you have any Quick Filters activated that might be filtering out the info you expect to see?
Are you using a custom filter for the board? This would be possible for a Company Managed project/board. Can you show us that filter?
What type of issues are these "tasks" that you have assigned to the sprints?

Hello @Brooke Cord
w.r.t. custom filters:
Can you go to the Board Settings and from there provide us with a screen image of the filter that is being used for the board?
w.r.t. type of issues for these "tasks"
Each issue you create in Jira has a Type - Story, Bug, Epic, Subtask, etc. I am asking what that Type is for the issues that are not showing in the Backlog. Are all issues of that Type absent from the Backlog display? If other instances of that Type are showing in the Backlog, can you identify the differences between ones that are showing and ones that are not?

Hi @Trudy Claspill -
Below are the quick filters for the Sprint Board at the moment, there are no filters on the Backlog view (which is causing the problem).
All issue types are showing in the backlog, just the ones specifically aligned to the Resource under the specific epic. The ones that are not showing the backlog, and should be, are tasks.

Referring to the initial image you supplied where in the Backlog screen you had selected Epic DX-3005 from the Epics pane, and you expect to see issue DX-3067 in the Backlog screen in group for DX Sprint 44...
"All issue types are showing in the backlog"
If you have no Quick Filters selected and no Epics selected, do you see somewhere in the Backlog screen the issue DX-3067?
If so, at what point of selecting filters (Quick Filters, Epics, and/or Assignee) does the issue DX-3067 stop displaying?

Let me reiterate the situation for clarity. Correct me if I have gotten anything wrong.
1. DX-3067 is a Task type of Issue.
2. DX-3067 is associated with the Epic (also in the DX project) that displays in the backlog of the board.
3. DX-3067 is included in a sprint that is showing on this board in both the Backlog and Board views.
4. DX-3067 does not display in the Backlog or Board views when no filters (Quick filters or selection of the Epic from the Epics pane) are selected.
5. Other Task type issues in the DX project do display in the Backlog and Board views of this board.
If that is all correct, then there is something about DX-3067 and the underlying filter(s) or standard Scrum board functionality of the board that are preventing it from being displayed.
1. Please go to Board Settings > General, and show us a copy of what it displays under the "Filter Query" heading.
2. What is the status of DX-3067?
3. In the display of DX-3067, next to the Status value does it show any additional text?
4. Are you using Releases in this project? Are there any values in the Fix Versions field for issue DX-3067
