Error creating issue

When creating an issue in the epic, there is the below error. This error occurs every single time for all users.

We couldn't create the child issue. 

Check your connection, then give it another try.

Hi @Julie Korpelainen -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

How are you trying to create the child issue?

That error message is a bit confusing, as it can occur when you have not selected the Epic Link when trying to create the item.
