Hello,

My team is starting to use the Integration with MS Teams. When we try to create Epics, we receive an error message "The Epic Date must be a string." The Epic Date is automatically set to today.

The only solution I have found is switching the Epic Date to a different day. Is there another solution to create Epics within Teams and allow the Epic Start Date to be the same day it's created on?

Hi Olivia - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

So you are saying that if you use 06/06/2025 or 06/04/2025 then it works and the issue is created. But if you use 06/05/2025 then it doesn't?

Does the date just default to today's date and you click create? Or do you have to enter it. If it defaults, try retyping it and see if it works.

Hello! It defaults to mm/dd/yyyy and gives you a calendar to choose from. I tried typing the date vs. using the calendar and that solved the issue.
