Error during XML-Backup from Oracle DB

Burkhard Voss March 3, 2018

Hi,

for our JIRA-Server we use a central Oracle-DB-Server. Oracle Version is: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0.

Now I would like to migrate the Jira-DB on the Oracle-Server to a Postgres-DB.

When I start creating a XML-Backup of the DB, I get the following error:

  • Ausnahme bei Sicherung: org.ofbiz.core.util.GeneralRuntimeException: Error creating GenericValue (SQL Exception while getting value: (Invalid column type: getBLOB not implemented for class oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CLongRawAccessor))

I used this documentation for the DB-migration: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/switching-databases-802592192.html

I've attached a screenshot and an actual support-zip-file.

Do you have any hints?

Best regards,

Burkhard
