Error importing data: java.lang.NullPointerException

Hello,

I am trying to import a Jira Software Cloud backup to Jira Software Server (8.13). I created an empty database(utf8mb4_bin) and installed Jira there. During the installation wizard, I pasted my ZIP file. The whole process failed:

• Error importing data: java.lang.NullPointerException

MySQL connector - mysql-connector-java-8.0.12.jar

In the xml file I found users with empty fields emailAddress, lowerEmailAddress and replaced them, but it didn't help(JRACLOUD-73092).

Same issue here with an error during migration of one last JSM Server project to Cloud - java.lang.NullPointerException: { /* ….java, userKey]

Working with Atlassian, it appears there might be others with the same issue (after resolving the NULL issue).

We have migrated all our JSW projects, Confluence sites and 2 of 3 JSM projects (One left sitting in Server, the rest working nicely over in Cloud)...almost there and the support staff are working to resolve and providing regular updates.

Hi @Alexander Podolyan  I'm having the same problem. I replaced the empty emailAddress, lowerEmailAddress but I'm still getting the error. Waiting for Atlassian to get back to me on a support request.

Did you manage to resolve the issue?
