Error in wiki markup formatting Description field

Hi All,

we met a special problem: in a project we cannot use the wiki markup formatting in Description field BUT only one issue type. In the same project at different issue types wiki markup works.

Have you got any suggestions what happened? Is there any issue type setting regarded to wiki markup?

It's a setting in the "field configuration". I suspect you'll find that your project has a "field configuration scheme" that says "for Issue type 1, use field configuration X, and for all other issue types, use field config Y". If you then look at the field configurations for X and Y, you'll find X has "wiki markup" as the renderer for the description field, and Y does not.
