Hi everyone.
In one of projects we have a lot of tickets created by Clone option (More -> Clone) from tickets within the same project.
When I try to edit one of these issues without Edit screen, I see an error message:
"Saving of #ticket_number# failed! You do not have permission to view this request" at the top right corner of the screen.
In spite of this error, changes are applied but it looks quite annoying.
This alert don't appear when I edit a ticket using Edit screen.
According to Permission scheme everything is definitely ok from roles point of view.
Also issue is not reprocuced when I edit brand new issue created without cloning.
Do you have any idea how to get rid of this error?
Best regards
Hi @Michael Okhotin ,
The error that you mentioned, does it occur only for your user or for everyone in your site?
You can try checking the Browser Network logs to see which request fails to give that error. Ref : https://support.panopto.com/s/article/How-to-Capture-Network-Logs-from-Chrome-Web-Browser
Since you're using the jira-server you can try checking the server logs too, since that might give a hint to the error as well.
If none of these solve your error then you'll need to get in touch with the Atlassian support team to get this solved https://support.atlassian.com/contact
