Error on Migration to development environment

Hi,

i tried to migrate my productive Jira Environment to another development environmet to implement some new workflows.

All worked nice but i get following error on User Creation :

"Cannot add user, all the user directories are read-only."

see screenshot.

If you've imported the data from a production system (which is usually a very good way to make a test system!), then I would say your system has inherited the user directory setup from there.

And that user-directory system is either read-only or not available to your development system.

Go to Admin -> User directories and check what is available, testing any external directory connections - I suspect you'll see that everything in the list is read only or fails the connection test.

You'll need to make at least one directory read/write to enable user creation.
