Error when editing sprint

Javid Huseynli February 6, 2023

Hi,

I have a board, which displays task from different projects.

And I have two users, who must have permissions to manage the sprints(Create, Start and Close) on this board.

Both have Administrator permission in all projects.

But on this board’s backlog they cant do anything with sprint.

What do I need to configure to give them right permissions?

I think there is a problem in jql.

Hi @Javid Huseynli,

One thing that is tricky is that your board filter is too generic. Because of the red rectangles on the screenshot, I am not entirely sure of what is there, but if that is an "OR", you are potentially pulling in issues from every single project in your Jira instance, including team managed projects. It might help if you could narrow down that scope.

On top of that, your users need Manage Sprints permission in your projects, not just Administrator.

Hope this helps!
