When I take a screenshot with a tool like "snipping tool", I used to be able to just copy that and paste it into the description area or comment area of a JIRA issue. I can no longer do that. Now I get an non-descript error message that just says, "That issue no longer exists".
But it does exist. I'm in it and successfully added a text only comment.
Help! This is making it really tough to enter issues!!
Hey Pam,
Is this something you can reproduce every time?
Seems like you are hitting this bug:
Attachment "The issue no longer exists." error
However I was trying to reproduce it and couldn't. I tried with Jira Software issues and Jira Service Desk issues as well.
Thank you,
Vasily
Yes, I can reproduce it every time. I've tried on different issues, both new and existing ones, and I still get the same error -- the one you mentioned above.

Hey Pam,
Could you please submit a ticket to Support?
We just want to verify this behaviour and make sure it is not another bug introduced.
You can describe in details how to reproduce it and also refer to this community question.
Thank you,
Vasily

After my most recent system reboot, I cannot reproduce the issue. If it happens again, I'll submit a ticket.
Thanks!

Pam,
Alright, that's good to hear!
Yes please, feel free to get back to Support if it occurs again.
Cheers!
