Estimation - original and remaining only
We've just moved to Jira and the dev team is used to only considering two things regarding estimation - the original estimate and the remaining. Once work is completed we don't log the time spent, but only write down the estimate. We want to keep things simple and just knowing what is left on an issue is most important to us.
The problem is that both Jira reports and Portfolio doesn't support this simple setup. E.g. in Portfolio we can't follow partial progress on a feature with subtasks being completed. Only when all subtasks are completed is the feature set to completed.
Any other dev. team with this basic estimation approach?
