Excel reports exporting

Hi colleges.

I have some custom reports that i need to export in excel. i use

AbstractReport.generateExcelReport

that produces UnsupportedOperationException.

What is the conventional excel exporting method now if it exist?

You can export issues to excel by clicking on the export button and then selecting CSV when viewing an issue.

If you don't see the option you can activate in your jira-config.properties with the following line: jira.export.excel.enabled=true

Or you can try using the plugin Better Excel
