Execute post function at pull request

Hello All,
Is there any way to execute post function when a jira issue transition happens when a pull request is completed ? At the moment post function is present at the right place but execute only when user interacts with the issue.

Hello Anil,

Post functions can only be triggered using a workflow transition.

That been said, you can create a loop workflow transition to all of your statuses with the post function you want and add a trigger that will execute the transition when the pull request is completed/merged.
