Export/Archive jira project for a customer

Hello,

we need to export/archive a jira project for a customer. We would like to delete some of the comments in issues in the exported version, we still need them in the project in our instance.

Actually we focus on th export of the whole project which can be re-imported on the customer instance later. But how can we delete the comments first?

It's also an option to Export in to a PDF or Excel but then we have the issue that the comments and attachments are not included.

Any ideas for a solution ?

Hi Phillipp,

When you export issues to CSV, you can open the result using Excel or Sheets or whatever spreadsheet tool. The comments will be one of perhaps multiple columns in the spreadsheet.
