Export comment with embedded images to Word file

Hi, I need to generate an issue report with support document.  One of the support document is by exporting the issue comment that includes embedded images to the word file.  These images are always exclusive or with broken link by using Jira’s built-in export options (XML, Word, Printable).  Are there ways to preserve those images in my export support documents? Thank you.

@Ingrid Chang You can export an issue with its comments (which can freely embed images) to PDF using the Better PDF Exporter app. See the samples.

It supports images in every formatted field value (like Description, Comments, text type custom fields, Attachments):

If your use case is reporting, then PDF as a portable read-only fileformat could work very well, but if Word is a strict requirement you can easily convert these PDF documents to DOCX documents using MS Word.
