Hi, I am currently trialling Jira standard plan and am working in operational projects so am just using a basic blank template.
Is there a way I can export or snip a visual of the project plan in list view or timeline including categories please?
thanks
Hi @Lisa Snuggs ,
You can export issues as a CSV, if that's helpful. Just click on "Search" in the upper right. Then click on "View All issues" at the bottom. From there, you can click "Export issues" to get a CSV. This will give you a way to get a visual in a spreadsheet view. (See screenshots below.)
If you want another way to visualize your data, you can try our Visor (disclaimer: I work at Visor). We have a bi-directional Jira integration that allows you to make color-coded Gantts, spreadsheets, etc. You can export them all as a PDF & CSV. Or, you can share them right in Visor: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226209/visor-flexible-spreadsheet-for-jira-roadmapping-bulk-edits?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Jira doesn't support exporting PDFs of Timelines. There are other apps that circumvent that like Better PDF Exporter: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/5167/better-pdf-exporter-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview&utm_source=midori-blog&utm_medium=advanced-roadmaps-pdf-export&utm_campaign=content-marketing
