Extend / modify quick search in Jira

Hey,

the Quick Search and the Administration Search are handy features (opened with "." or "gg"). I wonder if we can somehow extend the scope of the searches.

The exact use case would be to find our self developed plugins with the admin search. I'd expect to land on the config page of the selected plugin.

Any ideas?
