Currently I am looking into options for our clients to utilize our Jira platform to report issues / inquiries for the unique project links we share with them in the most efficient, simplistic and effective ways.
It would be useful for us if, our clients could easily create / report issues regarding certain status categories. Is there a way for them to communicate these issues to us directly and instantly without seeing the whole project board?
I have looked into the Jira Service desk, however, I wonder if this option allows clients to see all aspects of the project board.

Jira Service Desk would allow you to communicate with your clients, without them seeing your project boards and internal communication.
Depending on your requirements, Jira Service Desk could indeed be a very suitable way to have your clients create tickets and manage them internally.
