Hi Team,

Could you pls let me know if it is possible to hide a Kanban board but still have links to it that are visible to users if there are links to it from another Kanban board.

For example can an issue on Kanban board 1 reference an issue on a hidden Kanban board 2? Is this something feasible in Jira?

Thanks

Sartaj

Hello @Sartaj Ahmed

Welcome to the community.

Issues are not "in" boards. Issues are in Projects. Boards display issues based on saved Filters. Multiple boards can display the same issues is they use saved filters with overlapping issue selection criteria.

Also, there is no permission of setting that governs the ability to access a board. A user's ability to see the issues that the board is displaying is determined by the user's permissions to the projects from which the issues are selected.

So, you cannot hide a board.

An issue can have a link to another issue, but which board(s) might display that issue are completely irrelevant.
