Feasiblity of Migrating from Jira Data Center (Large users and Data) to Atlassian Cloud

Hello Everyone!

I have a scenario where certain company is using Jira in large scale there is huge user base (50k users) and data.

Below are the various factors company need to think before migrating.

1. Security of the Data.

2. Database Access

3. Number of users

4. Jira Performance

As per the current Atlassian offerings and upcoming features, will it be feasible to migrate to Atlassian Cloud?

For Atlassian Cloud Jira, direct access to the database is not permitted (your item #2). You need to evaluate why direct access to the database is needed and determine if the problems being solved can be solved in another way.

Regarding your item #3 (number of users) the current limit on number of users per instance for Jira Cloud in the Enterprise plan is stated as 20,000 per these two documents:
