I am trying to find a way to fetch the last-known closed date of a ticket and retrospectively populate a 'closed date' field so that I can calculate how many days a ticket was open in throughout it's whole lifespan.
I need to be able to add the data column as part of my filter results. Ideal solution:
issuetype | key | summary | created | date closed
Note: We are not able to install random plug-ins but we do have access to Script Runner
Ray,
Can you use the existing system field of "Resolution Date"? This marks when a ticket was resolved, which is when Jira considers a ticket to be closed/complete.
Thanks,
Kian
I have 'resolution' field which shows me the status (withdrawn, unresolved etc) but don't seem to have 'resolution date' option when I type in the columns pop up

In the columns, the field I'm referring to is called "Resolved". Let me know if you're able to find that!
