Field become mandatory on edit screen even though only set for transition screen

Hi,

I have custom fields (A, B and C) added on edit/view screen and also on transition screen. 

I want to make field B or C as mandatory on the transition screen depending on value of A(select list). I was successfully did it for transition screen using Behavior. In the behavior, I put condition that behaviour will happen on workflow transition only.

My problem is the field also become mandatory on edit screen which is not supposed to be that way.

If it isn't required upon creation then you didn't mark it required in the field configuration so it must be how you set it up in Behaviors. Review that. I use jira suite utilities for that so I can't with the configuration of Behaviors.

Thanks Joseph. For your information all the required set up were done in Behaviour. I never mark required in field configuration.
