Field change from Drop down single select to Multi select picker

Is there a way to change the field type Single select drop down to Multiple picker field?

Hi @Prabhu Chilukuri

Out of the box it cannot be done. However you can find apps that might help you with your problem. One of them is Doctor pro for jira which allows to migrate from single select to multiselect, single user picket to multiuser picker etc. Taking care of filters, screens and context.

Not on Cloud (you can do this safely on server with a database hack)

All you can do is add a new multi-select list, and migrate the existing data into it, before removing the old field.
