Hello,
I have created my own field configuration scheme (nothing fancy: just hiding label, and making description and environment mandatory). When the project uses the system default field configuration scheme it's all fine. When I apply my custom field configuration field, all issues disappear from kanban board.
Any idea how to solve?
nb:
- the issues still exist, they are not deleted
- when looking at the column configuration of the kanban board, the quantity of issues is correct, but the actual board shows 0 quantity for all column
- the issues are visible in the board as soon I put back the system default field configuration scheme.
- even issue that are created after the custom field configuration scheme is applied, are not visible
Actually I found that I hide also the field "Fix version". This is causing this _bug_. I still don't understand why "Fix version" is required for the Kanban board, and if so I don't know why Altasian is not locking this field.
It's not a bug, you configured the project to not have a field the Kanban board works off
Fix version is needed for Kanban, because of the way you (usually) make an issue "done" on a Kanban board - you "release" the issue(s), by placing a fix version on them.
This is by default - you can change the sub-filter. One popular option there is to set it to something like "resolved and last updated more than a week ago". That means issues naturally vanish from the board a few days after they are finished and people stop changing them.

thanks for the clarification. I though "fix version" was only needed when working with releases (which I'm not).

What is the filter for the board? And the sub-filter that determines "done"? (Both should be described on the main board configuration page)

Thanks Nic for your investigation. I tried one by one the hiden field, and found out that it was related to the "fix version" field.
