I'm looking into a solution were am able to properly create a filter that will order by priority and when the actual issue was created. So that I'd be able to determine of what high priority items have become stale or cold.
Whatever your filter is for project, issue type, status or fields, you can simply end the filter with "Order by priority, created" to the search.
This will tell some reports what to order the results by (many will ignore it because they're not built for sorted reports)
