When I try to update the Filter for my board I am unable to select team as a criteria. It says the following error message: "Team is not applicable for the current project and/or issue type"
However, when I look at Issues > Fields > Custom fields and go to "Team" it says the following for its context requirements.
So it seems to me like there's no reason I shouldn't be able to filter by Team?
Maybe there's some setting I'm not thinking about but if you have any ideas around how I can get my filter to filter by Team that would be great! Thank you!
Hello Jared,
I too have encountered this in the past and my work-around was to create a custom field I called "Delivery Team".
Hope this is helps!

Hello @Jared Lim
Can you show us the filter with the error message?
Has the Team field been added to the screens for the issue types and projects that are within the scope of your filter?

Here's the filter:
And here's the JQL if that's easier:
When I check the Issues > Configure Screen, the "Team" field is listed in the Field Tab.
I'm not sure how to check that "Team" is available for each issue type or on the project itself. Not sure if that's the same settings as I mentioned just above.

Can you show us the modified filter with the Team field and the error message?
When you are looking at the custom field, there can be Context and Screens specified. You showed us the Context. Is there anything for Screens?
What type of project is ENG; Software, Service, or Work Management?

Not sure if this is what you're asking for, but I'm having what sounds to be the same issue as folks above describe; Team field not available in Filters.

Thank you!
I have finally discovered that there is apparently a known bug for this:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-19187
The work around is to use the Switch to JQL option and manually type in the Team field.
