Hello,
I haven't been able to find a solution for this. Does anyone know if there is a way to write a filter to list all epics with all status (open, in progress, complete) and then be able to pull it to Portfolio? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi,
issuetype = Epic AND status in (open, "In progress", complete)
This query should list all Epics in those status. If you want add Project = A using AND operator.
Save this filter, then in Portfolio Plan > Configure > Issue Sources > Edit Source to pull these Epics using filter option.
Another question. Your suggestion above works great. However, when I pull the filter into Portfolio, I noticed that some projects (Epic) did show up in Portfolio. I have one Epic -AP-81, I can see that is in the filter but it does not show up in Portfolio. I would think that Portfolio should pull the entire filter over. Am I missing something with this? If you can provide feedback/thoughts. Thank you.

@Mao LeeIs it displaying in the Scope list in lower part of the screen ? If it does and not in scope timeline area(top section in portfolio) check the Target Start, Target End date.

I clearly have the epic AP-81 but in Portfolio, all the tasks and simple tasks that are attached to the Epic are appearing without an Epic (Issues without parent Epic) section of the bottom which I do not understand. When I click on the tasks, there is no Epic assigned to the task (see screen shot here) then when I searched for the Epic by clicking the drop down list to search, nothing found under Epic AP-81. I compared this Epic to other working Epics and do not see the difference. Any ideas why or what I need to change so that the Epic will show up in Portfolio along with all the tasks so the tasks don't say "No Epic"? Thanks.
