Filter for cases changed from Bug to Story

In our process, if a Bug is deemed to really be a feature request, the issueType is changed via the Move operation from a Bug to a Story. Is there a way to filter for all cases where this happened?

@Thomas Coleman - this feature isn't available out of the box with Jira.

One option would be to create a custom field, have automation populate this field if the issue type changes, then run a filter for if that field is populated

Unfortunately, that solution would not provide historical data. It would only work from the time that the custom field was created.

No, it wouldn't... depending on how many you have it would be a very manual task to populate the field for current issues
