Filtering tasks by Boards

Shams Rasulzade July 12, 2023

I have a website that has a user side and Admin Panel. I want to create 1 project that has 2 boards where I will add all my tasks related to both the user page and admin panel. I want to view the tasks separately on boards.

I added tasks to the backlog and started a sprint but even if I switch between boards it still shows the same (all tasks) without filtering

(I added labels and added quick filters for this but I want to filter them by boards because else having 2 different boards has no meaning)

Hello @Shams Rasulzade

To filter the issues by board, you can go to board settings of your first board and in general tab you will see "saved filter". Edit that filter something like (Project = "ABC" and lables = "user page" ORDER BY Rank ASC) and save it.

Similarly, make changes for the other board.

Note: Tickets which will not have the lables or lables other than you mentioned in board filters will not appear in any board.

Additionally, you can use "Components" to organize your project.

Hi Shams,

You need to edit the Filter used by the boards to show less issues. While on the board, click the 3 dots menu in the upper right and choose Board Settings.

Then you want to edit the board filter.
