We have multiple massive workflows. When set up over 10 years ago, there were transitions (Post) to auto-assignee the next step to particular people. Over the years, some personal are no longer here and the Post transitions need to be updated. Problem is there are 100's of transitions that I would have to copy the workflow, search each step for transition changes, and then either publish and re-establish schemes OR delete the new copy.
Is there a way that a search could be performed to identify which workflows needs to be updated and in each with transition is involved?
You could export the XML of the workflow, edit in a text editor and re-import. There isn't a less messy way, unfortunately.
That's what I resorted to, but with 56 workflows I was hoping for a better way. Thank you for your reply.
