Find the date a child was added to an Epic

Hello all, Is there a way I can find out when a story was added as a child to an epic? I am trying to find out how many get added after an epic is in progress. I could use JQL or scriptrunner but i have not been able to sort it out.

You may utilize the Issue comments section. Their you will have a track of the all activities happening on that issue type.
