I've checked permissions for resolving issue and changed them for all logged-in users (as I'm an admin in Jira)

Fix version is added on all screens: create, edit

Also, I've checked that version was created on project level

After changing permissions, I've re-logged-in just for case

But after all actions, I try to create issue, fill in just two fields summary and fix version, click 'Create issue', issue is created, then I view issue, but fix version remains empty

How to solve it? Is it a bug?

Hi @Aleksandra Lysenko -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Would you please check on your releases (versions page) to see if the version is archived?

I recall seeing a defect that once a version is archived it could not be saved in the fixVersion field...and...it does not show that condition as an error.

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Aleksandra Lysenko

Welcome to the community 🙂

It sounds like you have the hold on Jira and everything is correct as you said and should appear if it's being added when creating issue.

Could you please check with add-ons and may be any add-on is affecting this issue.

Please check with Atlassian on this by raising the support ticket.

Thanks,

Pramodh
