Set Up an Email Integration: First, you’ll need to set up Jira to handle emails. In Jira, go to “Project Settings” and find the “Email Requests” section. Here, you can set up an email address that will be used to create tickets from your emails.
Get Your Jira Email Address: Jira will provide you with a special email address. Copy this address—it’s where you’ll send your Outlook emails to create tickets.
Create a Ticket via Outlook:
Send Your Email: Once you’ve filled in the subject and details, just hit “Send.” Jira will automatically create a new ticket based on your email.
Check Jira: Head over to Jira to see your new ticket in the project you’ve set up. You’ll find it there, ready for you to track and manage.
