Following Upgrade from Jira 8.5 to 8.6 Loading Issues Fails with a 500 error

Hi All,

 Please assist;

 After upgrading Jira 8.5 to 8.6 I got a 500 error when accessing an issue.

 With Hipchat enabled (e.g. as the system was post 8.6 upgrade) when entering an issue I get

This error suggested this was related to the 3x Hipchat related plugins (

Atlassian Hipchat Integration Plugin, 

Atlassian Hipchat Integration Plugin Core, 

Hipchat for Jira)

which are incompatible with Jira 8.6 according to the Latest Upgrade Report. I disabled each of these and restarted the Jira service.

The upgrade report also lists "some of your user apps have failed to start. They may not be compatible with this version of Jira - Atlassian Universal Plugin Manager - Plugin License Storage plugin."

With the Hipchat plugins disabled I get: -

I've resolved this by restoring missing dbo rights for the jiradbuser.
