For example I had a basic wf
open->in progress->in development->done

i had custom field called work started on which will populate current date and time, I had one more transition from Done to Open so after coming back to open we’ll move to in progress so again it is populating new current date and time

There does not seem to be a problem or question defined here.  Could you explain what you want to happen and what is actually happening?

Hi @mokkapati naveshchowdary   Check the Trasnitions that have screens in that Screen that custom field is added.

For a reason they have added the transition screen i think 

If you want to remove that screen edit that transition it will pop a window in that there is a screen section make it as none and publish the workflow

Now when ever you want to populate it will wont pop up the screen.

No,that field is in view screen by using JSU by post function update issue field it is auto populated but when we reopened it is changing
