For the cloud version can I add/change categories for the workflows?

Currently We have To Do, In Progress, & Done as options. Is there a way to update these parameters and have more or different names?

While you can add as many statuses as you wish you cannot add or modify Status Categories.

Is there a request into Atlassian to provide this for cloud as well? Increasingly disappointed in the reducing services of the cloud version

Well there is this one - JRACLOUD-36241  that has been closed as won't fix and this one - JRACLOUD-63384 that is "gathering interest" yet it has the exact same comment/response that it won't be fixed. IMO this will not be changed as it is a fundamental component of how Jira works and may underlying features rely on these three categories. Of course I could be wrong. :-)
